In 2003 I graduated from the University of
Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelors of Science in Education,
focusing in art education.
I worked as a teacher in a private school for five years,
educating students in grades k-8 in the fine arts.
I have been painting for most of my life, but decided to
begin working in children's rooms when both a friend of
mine and I had difficulty finding unique, creative, and
modern items to decorate our children's room with. I enjoy
being able to transform a completely bare wall into a work
of art, while adding a bit of whimsy to a child's living space.
After all, that's what being a kid is all about.
